A bold and modern studio transformation, turning a dated high-street unit into a sleek, design-led workspace that reflects the architectural ethos of the practice.
Originally a dark and tired commercial unit, the space was reimagined as a dynamic, light-filled studio with a sculptural central desk and bespoke internal finishes throughout.
A palette of industrial grey tones, warm timber detailing and clean white surfaces runs through the interiors, establishing a confident yet inviting atmosphere. Textured slate partitions subtly divide the open-plan space without sacrificing transparency, while striking lighting and sculptural furniture anchor the interior.
The double-height rear space was opened up to form a breakout zone, flooded with natural light from the glazed roof and side return. Architectural detailing throughout celebrates simple forms and bold materials — from the curved, monolithic reception desk to the crisp metal trim and concealed joinery. The result is a confident, modern workplace that reflects the studio’s commitment to design excellence and spatial innovation.
