dRAW completed the full refurbishment of this semi-detached property in Clapham in mid 2019. Acquiring planning permission for this property was complicated as it required multiple extensions.

The property was totally renovated from top to bottom. The ground floor was redesigned with a rear extension and side return adding significant square footage to the floor plate. Two sets of Crittall sliding doors were installed to split the front and middle rooms of the property from the remaining ground floor family space.

The back room of the property which opens out into the garden has a kitchen designed by Kitchen Architecture and is filled with modern appliances. A walnut panelled wall hides a bespoke bar and hidden cupboards and acts as a backdrop to the dining space. A sunken seating area was also created for watching TV. Each area within the space has its own functionality whilst being part of the whole.

The upper floors of the house were reorganised, with an en-suite and walk in wardrobe fitted into the master bedroom. Playful designs were used in the children’s rooms with a bespoke bunk bed and bright colours creating a fun space away from the rest of the house.
