Belgravia Mews House
This elegant mews house has been newly built behind the traditional retained facade, in keeping with its historical character externally but sleek and modern internally.
The historical value of this mews house was fundamental to its design, the beautiful facade was carefully retained while the house was newly built behind.
We wanted to preserve the visual impact of the house and create an open modern space within.
A bespoke staircase adopts one corner of the home and winds up through all three storeys underneath the large skylight. A neutral palette is employed throughout the house with feature marble finishing selected on the living room and kitchen walls.
A tranquil master suite on the top floor includes a large bedroom, walk in wardrobe and luxury bathroom that overlooks an interior courtyard. The clients can escape to their ‘winter garden’ year round, which features a pergola and overhead operable glazing that can be opened in the warmer months.
